The Kansas State Ophthalmological Society is run by the Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors include the President, Immediate Past President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, Immediate Past President and Councillor to the American Academy of Ophthalmology. KSOS elected officers to serve January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2006. Officers must be Active Members of the Society. Officers serve as volunteers and are not paid for their work. KSOS has been fortunate to have committed leaders who are willing to work for the benefit of all patients and Eye MD's of Kansas.

The Kansas State Ophthalmological Society contracts with a part time Executive Director for administrative services.  Currently, the Executive Director is Amy A. Campbell of 700 SW Jackson, Suite 705, Topeka, Kansas 66603.  The Campbell office provides administrative and lobbying services at the direction of the Board.
